Sundays in Classroom G from 1-2 pm
Ever wanted to draw your favorite cartoons and Mangas? This class will
finally make that dream a reality, students will learn the fundamentals of
drawing through your favorite cartoons styles.
Each student will use a variety of artistic supplies such as Col-erase
pencils,
Prisma color pencils, Tombow brush pens, and Mars lumagraph pencils. 11x17
paper will be used and students will be encouraged to purchase sketchbooks.
(all ages welcome)

Andres Alvarez has spent the past 10 years working in the animation and

These classes are designed to teach individuals of all ages basic movement and rhythms of various Latin dance styles. Beginning with Cha Cha Cha, students will also learn Merengue, Cumbia, and Mambo. The last class will culminate with set choreography using these various Latin dance techniques. Come alone, bring a friend or your family! All classes are designed to work at all levels of learning in a fun, friendly and patient environment.

The Art of Japanese Archery Kyudo (Way of Bow) is often described as moving meditation.
Students will be inroduced to many aspects of Japanese traditional arts and culture through the Way of Bow.

Beginning Bellydance with Alexiis
Alexiis teaches grace, strength and community through the combination of fusion and American Tribal Style influenced bellydance. Classes are on going and suitable for all healthy bodies.
This dance style has no age, race or size limitations.
One must simply show up and be prepared to join in on learning steps from the ancient language of womans communal dance.
Level 1 Classes focus on the basics, drills, isolations and tribal-dance elements. This is a good place for absolute beginners and those who need to "brush-up" on their dance vocabulary.
Wear comfortable yoga-style clothing that allows for movement of the body.

The Southern California Institute for Zen Studies is a meditation group affiliated with the Chozen-ji International Zen Dojo of Honolulu, Hawaii.
