Master Planning

The public is invited to participate in the master planning process for Angels Gate Cultural Center and Angels Gate Park. Notice of public meetings and opportunities to comment will be posted on this page, the Home page of the website, in local newspapers, in distributed flyers, and by email.

The next public workshop for the planning process will be held December 1, 2007 at 10am at Angels Gate Cultural Center Bldg. H, 3601 S. Gaffey St., San Pedro, CA.

Angels Gate Cultural Center's leadership of the overall park planning is undertaken in partnership with Councilwoman Janice Hahn, Los Angeles City Council Distict 15, and the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, Jon Kirk Mukri, General Manager.

Two public planning workshops took place at the Cultural Center on April 21st, 2007 and June 2, 2007. Transcripts of the public comments gathered at these workshops are available from the links below. Approximately 110 community members and regional stakeholders attended.
