Printmakers from the Czech Republic

October 1 - November 26, 2006

Opens Sunday, October 1, at 2:00 pm

Artist talk begins at 2:30

Five artists from the Czech Republic have been residency for two weeks at Angels Gate, making artwork in the Print Studio and preparing an exhibition, which opens Sunday, October 1, at 2:00 pm. Artist talk begins at 2:30.

Czech artists Tomas Lampar, Michal Motycha, Ondrej Michalek and Jana Sindelova laying out their exhibition in Gallery A.
JF Kovar, Tom Lampar, Michal Motycka, Ondrej Michalek, and Jana Sindelova, will show prints, photographs, architectural designs, and mixed media work. The program is largely supported by individuals and businesses in the San Pedro area. The exhibition runs through November 26th.

Our Czech guests join the ranks of international artists that have been hosted by the Angels Gate Cultural Center recently from such places as Indonesia, Macedonia, and Pakistan. Upcoming programs include artists from England and the Republic of China.

"Printmakers from the Czech Republic" has been generously supported by individuals and businesses in the San Pedro area, without whom our international residencies would not be possible.
