"Inside Outside"
Silver gelatin prints, dioramas, and micro-miniature installation
October 30th - December 4th, 2005
"Inside Outside," new work by Tristan Duke, will be on display in the Downstairs Gallery.
Show includes limited edition silver gelatin prints of subminiature landscapes and installations, illuminated dioramas that are viewed through lenspieces,
and micro-miniature sculptural constructions. By transcending human scale, size becomes relativistic. The work defies dimensionality, and the diminutive
becomes monumental.
Tristan Duke is living and working in Boulder Colorado. His work has been shown at the Fort Collins Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles Contemporary
Exhibitions, and in galleries around Colorado and Illinois.
