Opening Reception: Sunday, January 30, 2-4pm
For the past 5 years, Frank Minuto collaborated with the model and former ballerina Sara Streeter to create a body of work that explores various emotional psyches within settings such as those featuring 50's Las Vegas show girls, Persian harlots and Parisian Cafés. Minuto's work reveals the intimate life of different personas as well as illustrates the close relationship that often develops between artist and muse through drawings, photographs and paintings. The vanity Minuto used in the 50's Las Vegas series will be set up in the gallery so that visitors can photograph themselves in much in the same way as Minuto photographed and painted Sara in his studio.

This exhibition is sponsored in part by the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, Coastal San Pedro Neighborhood Council, and the Central San Pedro Neighborhood Council.
