Opening Reception: Saturday, September 10, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Tamara Mason, a Long Beach based artist, was inspired by the Drum Barracks Civil War Museum in Wilmington to create a site specific work for the Project Space gallery. Entitled Blockade, the piece layers historic and contemporary images of the site to create textures thus giving the viewer a sense of vastness and intimacy.
