My name is Edie Zelon-Estrada and I am a native of California, although my parents came all the way from Poland. I currently live with my wonderful husband Eddie, in San Pedro. I attended Cal State Long Beach and got a B.F.A. in Illustration Art and I later completed a Teaching degree from Cal State Dominguez. Since I was a little girl I have been creating art, and I haven't stopped yet! I have a life long love of creating art, teaching, and learning.

I currently teach art at Pacific Lutheran High School as well as teaching my private "Artful Minds" classes at Angels Gate for ages five through young adult. I also teach seasonally at the Palos Verdes Art Center. My students are great, and they help me to become a better person. I am a mixed media artist- working with the same materials that I use in my classes: pastels, paints, colored pencils, and ceramics. I especially like to make cards.
